We became an Academy on the 1^st August 2011. As a school we were judged by Ofsted as a 'good school with outstanding features' and this enabled us to apply to become an Academy. Being an Academy means that we can make all the decisions in respect of our school. We receive and control the funding which enables us to decide how to spend the money to provide the best education for our students.
