Year 9

In Year 9, students work on larger projects in preparation for GCSE. There is more emphasis on Planning, Design and Implementation. Tasks are designed so that students can be independent and choose the path that their project follows. Students start preparing for GCSE after Easter by covering a set of “mini topics” which cover the essentials needed for the course. In June, students start working on their coursework for the Core GCSE Unit.
