Employers and Businesses
Working with Thamesmead
Our young people are entering into an increasingly competitive and quickly evolving jobs market at a time of great financial and political uncertainty. We aim to help every student to reach their full potential and progress on to a successful destination by providing them with the widest possible range of employer and careers related opportunities.
We value the help and support of businesses to ensure that every child leaves us aspiring towards and equipped for a happy and successful future.
As a holder of the prestigious Investors in Careers Award, a nationally recognised standard for the delivery of impartial Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG) students at Thamesmead School have access to a comprehensive range of careers education activities and guidance through a combination of employer engagement, tutorial activities, assemblies, careers events, external trips and individual guidance interviews to support their decision making whilst at school to raise aspirations and to prepare them well for the future.
