School Development Fund

Thamesmead School Development Fund’s aim is to support the schools mission that each student will realise their potential.  The level of funding we receive from the government covers the basic schooling experience and doesn’t allow us the opportunity to spend on developing and upgrading equipment and facilities.

As a parent or carer, you can help make a real difference through a voluntary regular donation to the School Fund. Your support is vital to our success and the future of our students.

If you would like to discuss any aspects of fundraising at Thamesmead School, please contact Julian Seymour, Finance and Business Manager   or telephone 01932 219400.

You can set up a regular payment to the fund using the forms below and return them completed and signed to Finance Office, Thamesmead School, Manygate Lane, Shepperton, Middlesex, TW17 9EE contact details or telephone 01932 219438.

Your support of Thamesmead School’s Development Fund.

The Fund supports the School’s mission that each student will realise their potential.
Parents and Carers of Pupils at Thamesmead School contribute to the Fund.

Over the last five years we are delighted that the Fund provided

£75,000 for the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA)

£4000 Equipment for the MUGA

£92500 IT Equipment

It is easier to process the payments, which keeps the administration costs down.  Regular giving also enables us to plan ahead knowing how much we will receive.
We are happy to accept your generous donation in other ways, for example cheques payable to Thamesmead School.
The recommended amount is £10 per month.  Smaller or larger donations are happily received.
The School realises that not every family can afford to contribute and we would not want you to.   There are other ways in which you can help make a difference to your child’s education, through the PTA or volunteering to be an examination invigilator.
The bank account holder needs to cancel the standing order instruction by contacting their bank.

In the first instance you must cancel the standing order with your bank. You can apply for a refund, however please note that the School will not refund more than 3 months contributions.
