Year 8 had an amazing trip to Little Canada on the Isle of Wight at the beginning of July. They participated in great and challenging activities throughout their weekend and even managed to watch England beat Sweden in the World Cup quarter-final!
Here are some photos of their adventures dragon boating, on the beach, climbing Jacob’s Ladder, fencing, playing team games, learning survival skills and learning archery.
Meanwhile, at school the rest of year 8 took part in team building and Public Safety activities with the Fire Brigade, St John’s Ambulance and for water safety. They learned some very valuable skills and we thank Surrey Fire & Rescue, St John’s staff and the Royal Life Saving Society for joining us in school on this day.
