Year 10 STEM Science at Brooklands

A group of our Year 10 students took part in a fantastic STEM experience at Brooklands College on 16th March.

Workshops included Science – the forensics of finger printing, Technology – a TV quiz show challenge in which students made their own TV quiz show and worked both in front of and behind the cameras, Engineering – students learned about the engineering behind rockets and made their own, and finally the Mathematics of electronics – students created a sensor activated circuit board.

Congratulations to Hendrix, whose impressively-engineered rocked reached an incredible 73 metres and set the record of the college’s two day event!
