Well done to our Year 9 students who participated in the BP Young Scientist Challenge on 11th July. Working as a team they produced an amazing oil platform design. The students conducted themselves very well and made Thamesmead and Miss Juchnevic very proud of them.

The students taking part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award have been out and about on their practice and actual expeditions. Here they are walking, eating, cooking, resting and putting up tents.  

Our Griffin House students have won the overall reward points competition for this year and were treated to an afternoon of inflatable fun, games, popcorn & candy floss. Well done Griffin!  Who will be next year’s champion house?

Some of our year 8s have taken part in team building and Public Safety activities with the Fire Brigade, St John’s Ambulance and for water safety. What an amazing event we had at school on Thursday 5th July. Some incredibly talented students treated the audience to some great performances. Congratulations to them all and thank you to the Friends of Thamesmead for a fantastic BBQ too!
